The Navrachana Education Society, Vadodara, was founded in 1965 by Mrs. Savitaben Amin, a qualified educator who studied at Santiniketan and later trained under Madam Montessori and at Columbia University, USA. The Navrachana School Sama was started by the Society in 1967, one of the very few co-educational schools affiliated to the CBSE in the state of Gujarat, at that time.
The Navrachana Education Society (NES), Vadodara, is a registered Charitable Trust and is managed by a Board of Trustees comprising educationists, philanthropists and administrators. The Society is acclaimed for its varied achievements, having imparted through its Institutions, quality education for five decades, predominantly to the children of the citizens of Vadodara, Gujarat.

The management of academics and co-curricular activities is placed in the hands of distinguished Principals who are National Awardees and their competent teams of very capable and experienced Teachers. Experts from different walks of life are invited regularly to engage with students, teachers and parents of all our schools in order to enhance their understanding of the world. The Society is sensitive to parental aspirations and has strong and proactive systems such as the PTA in place.

There is a judicious integration of IT skills and higher order thinking skills in the academics at every level. The experimental, discovery-oriented methodology of learning makes sure that each child comes happily to school every day and returns home with hope and contentment. Each School is also equipped with ample sporting facilities and qualified coaches to ignite and nurture sporting talent in every child. A large number of NES students participate and excel at local, state, zonal, national and international levels in various indoor and outdoor sports. Each School also has a vigorous school trip program for each class that generally dovetails into the curriculum such that for the most part, the tour is also an ‘outdoor laboratory’!

NES acknowledges the fact that every child is with the school during the most important and formative years of the child’s holistic development into responsible and caring adulthood. Accordingly, enlightenment and empowerment are managed through a positive rigour of discipline related to academics, behaviour, humane values and social skills to ensure that true potential is transformed smoothly into reality.

The Navrachana Education Society celebrated its Golden Jubilee Year from December 31, 2014 to December 30, 2015.
